Teva CFS Book English

8 Dear employees, I am proud to present you with our story. The story of the Teva Kfar Saba site employees. This story is about coming a long way, for over three decades, during which time we have experienced great challenges, peaks and successes, and some hardships as well. All along, our belief in ourselves and in our abilities, optimism, and hope have always accompanied us . This book concentrates our extensive work throughout the years, and it is presented with Teva’s value system , since only a person that feels the value in what they do can bring added value himself. I believe that knowing history is necessary in order to build a present and future . Knowing our roots will pave the way for a fruitful future. I welcome you to connect to the deep roots and impressive history that the Kfar Saba site boasts. All of us, managers and employees - can sense the power of this place emanating from the pages of this book. It’s important for me that we get to know the organizational culture and what has been done here in Kfar Saba over the years, honor the work and be proud of the site we belong to. This is the same rationale that stands behind our launch of the Made in Kfar Saba since 1980 logo, which encompasses the message that we have been here for a long time, proud of our past, and looking forward to the future. Teva is currently changing its perspective and as emerges from the company’s vision, we are moving from an outlook of drug manufacturing to one of caring for people’s health . The Kfar Saba site is also undergoing additional changes - the Copaxone patent period is coming to an end and entering a period of a new generation of products. In order to succeed in the task and meet our goals, we must complete capabilities and adapt ourselves to future challenges , and as a manager I am prepared to do whatever it takes. And on a personal note - one of the main reasons that I happily accepted the offer to manage the Kfar Saba site is the site’s professional capability, which also manifests in its impressive past. Over the 25 years I have been working at the company, Teva and Kfar Saba are synonymous - the site is at the company’s core. Therefore, when I was approached, I felt an immense sense of pride, as well as a huge sense of responsibility. According to Teva’s perspective, people are central . Therefore, each and every one of us is a driving force and together we can pave the way to success. We experienced great successes in the past and I have no doubt that together we will continue to succeed and write the next pages in this book, which will be no less fascinating. Sincerely, Evgeny Valdman From the Kfar Saba Site General Manager Evgeny Valdman
