How does it work? A designated server at the company generates random numbers that are sent to the packaging lines through a site-wide server and are printed on each of the units for sale. The printed numbers are sent at the end of batch production back to the company server, which transfers them as a built-in report to the numbers databases of the various countries. All the pharmacies in each country will connect to these databases and by scanning the number encoded on the package, will receive confirmation that the drug is original.
