Making our Families Proud D uring the 90s, all of Teva’s plants had sports days, which included competitions in the various sports. The Kfar Saba plant, which displayed exemplary sportsmanship, won most of the prizes. In the 2000s, the sports days were discontinued and Teva joined the Sportiada for work places, which took place every year in Eilat. In the early 2000s the Granulation and Packaging Departments decided to have a soccer game to settle an argument. A lot of spectators came to the field, including the Plant Manager. After the game, it was decided to have a soccer tournament. Each department chose a nickname and matching uniform: The Maintenance Department was called the Lions, Granulation - Hammers, Packaging - Falcons, R&D - Foxes. The crowd filled the bleachers with noises and drums and the vibe was comparable to Camp Nou in Barcelona. During the finals, the Hammers won the championship and the Falcons took second place...
