Winter 1992 - Kfar Saba wears white The “brave” technicians Peter Heler, who has been working at Teva since 1977 (since the Ikapharm days) remembers: “During the Gulf War, a technician that came from Germany to fix a critical manufacturing machine stayed in Israel. The technician wanted to return to Germany, not out of fear of the sirens and missiles, but because he was afraid of his mother, who wanted him to be there on her birthday. He agreed to stay in Israel only after the maintenance people that accompanied him proposed to send a huge bouquet of flowers to his mother in Germany. In another incident that Peter remembers, the technicians that came from Germany during an unstable time (and after much persuasion) were actually very fearful of the situation. On a day when an emergency drill was planned at the site, which also included alarms, the accompanying technicians from the Maintenance Department needed to find creative solutions, such as taking them out to lunch at a restaurant during the drill, so that they wouldn't get a fright and head back to Germany. The Kfar Saba plant salutes the female employees Working Women’s Daysi dekramonce a year at a fancy event ,which ylno the site’s female employees are invited to .The tneve includes a performance or fashion show and a nice meal.
